The Green is another band amongst the most popular “Jahawaiian” artists. Know for their “love” songs, the green continues to impress listeners with not only great music but great meaning. Their lyrical soundscape is the “posterchild” for other Jahawaiian musicians, and their popularity is quickly expanding beyond the islands. Personally, I feel that the green will be the the biggest reggae band to ever come out of the Hawaiian Islands by the time they are finished. In the songs Love is Strong, and Come In, it is easy to spot their value of love and how they embrace both the traditional reggae ideals as well as those from the Hawaiian Culture.
