Bob Marley

Hands down, the most famous reggae artist of all time is the legend, Bob Marley.  He is the one who set the standard for all reggae artists who come after him, and is still to this day one of the most listen to, and praised artists of all time from any genre.  Bob took a stand during his life, and never strayed from his ideals.  He created this genre, and will always be known for his accomplishments as an artist, as well as a person.  He molded reggae into not just music, but into a religion.  He was the ultimate believer in faith, one love, and true equal happiness.  Hailing from Jamaica, Bob has albums full of world wide classics as he spread his message around the world.  Every value or ideal that can be found within the reggae genre can be found in his songs, and his life will forever be remembered as he truly did bring the world one step closer to peace.
